In turn, her travel and experiences help her to provide a unique perspective to her students on the intersection of culture and healthcare.
- Daniel Ampomah, PhD, RN, NE-BC, Arlington campus professor. Won the 2015 GEM Award for Volunteerism and Service in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area for his work with the local Ghanaian community. Ampomah said he is “most proud of the positive impact my work has had on Chamberlain College of Nursing and to nursing as a whole. My work sets an example for my students and fellow colleagues to follow and aspire to, to do greater things for nursing.”
